TL;DR: Within an extremely aggressive timeline I created a mobile web-based selfie generator tool (now known as a IG filter) for NARS cosmetics. The tool was used by influencers and fans on Instagram promote a new product offering, Climax Mascara.
NARS is a major world-wide luxury cosmetics and skin care brand known for their audacious high style and risqué product names.
The Project
For the world-wide launch of their new mascara, Climax, the marketing team at NARS wanted a digital promotional tool for their influencers and fans.
We wanted to create something to be used on Instagram that would be easy and fun to share and decided on a selfie tool based on the ad creative developed for the Climax product. Our concept was to turn fans of the brand into models with a similar design treatment to the official ad campaigns.
As the new product hit retail stores worldwide, social media influencers used this site to create selfie-based, co-branded giveaway contests for their respective audiences.
